MOST Southeast Asian stock markets rose yesterday, racking up strong gains for the quarter, as global markets welcomed Spain’s spending cuts.
In Singapore, stocks ended flat. The benchmark Straits Times Index edged up 0.91 points to 2,060.34.
Among the active movers, Fraser and Neave eased 0.11 per cent to S$ 8.88 after shareholders approved Heineken’s US$ 4.6 billion offer for the Singapore conglomerate’s stake in Asia Pacific Breweries. Singapore Telecom was unchanged at S$ 3.20. Agencies
