SOUTHEAST Asian stock markets ended higher yesterday, with Indonesia recouping earlier losses, while Thai stocks rose for a sixth day on institutional buying.
In its Asean equity strategy, Morgan Stanley remained “neutral” on Indonesian equities.
In Singapore, the stock market strengthened. The benchmark Straits Times Index closed 1.13 per cent, or 34.13 points, higher at 3,045.90.
Of the active counters, Olam International was 4.0 per cent higher at S$ 1.56 and Singapore Telecom rose 0.62 per cent to S$ 3.27. Agencies
