THE FTSE Straits Times Index rose 0.21 per cent, or 6.86 points, to close at 3,261.12 yesterday, taking the year-to-date performance to 2.97 per cent higher.
Keppel Corp Ltd was among the biggest gainers yesterday after the world’s largest oil rig builder won two contracts worth S$ 200 million. Keppel gained 1.22 per cent to S$ 11.61. The DBS Group, meanwhile, fell 0.46 per cent to S$ 15.10.
