KUALA LUMPUR: Malindo Air, the Malaysian hybrid airline, is set to spread its wings to Indonesia, marking its first entry into the country with two daily routes beginning September 23.
The carrier will start daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to Jakarta and Bali from September 23 and 26, respectively.
The all-inclusive fares will start from RM159 to Jakarta and RM199 to Bali, its chief executive officer Chandran Ramamuthy said in a statement yesterday.
He said the airline expects to deliver good results via the new services as Jakarta and Bali are well-known holiday destinations.
The new routes, via Boeing 737-900ER, will provide convenient connections for the growing number of passengers travelling on Malindo Air and further enhance its local market share, Chandran added. Bernama
