Elderly satellite entrepreneurs of the world: Global Invacom Group might have a retirement package for you. The ground-based satellite equipment specialist is embarking on an acquisition campaign to capture its industry’s demographic quirk, and is in the final stages of securing a secondary listing in London to fill its war chest. In essence, the pioneers who started businesses in making broadcast-satellite components and services are no longer young, said Global Invacom chief executive Tony Taylor, 51. He told reporters yesterday, shortly after obtaining shareholder approval for a secondary listing on the London AIM market: “There is a fabulous opportunity in our industry right now for a selective acquisitions strategy.
